3 years on and Barbra is still doing well and still calls the Gold Coast Seaway – Home!
History
Divers found Barbra the stingray in the seaway,so badly knifed that her disc could not operate to swim and her tail had been chopped off
Seaworld was contacted to come and rescue Barbra on the – 20-Apr-2011 in the seaway
Sea World released her back in the Seaway on the – 23-Jun-2011
Dec 2011 sighted in the GC Seaway
5-August 2012 sighted at Gretas Reef
(Bait reef just south of the seaway)
30-October-2012 on south wall of gold coast seaway
24-June-2013 on the South Wall Gold Coast Seaway
23-February-2014 on the the South Wall at Entrance to the Gold Coast Seaway
2-May-2014 just east of the Sand Pipe, Gold Coast Seaway
